Love

Out of all the things I learned at Bible college, the most important thing I learned is to love. Something that cannot really, truly be taught in a classroom setting. Although learning about the Trinity and learning about the Old Testament is cool, I feel like learning to love is much more important. I think if I am going to be a pastor, I better be a love master. When Jesus came down to earth, he chose uneducated people to lead his church. They probably did not have the greatest skill sets to lead churches, or were eloquent speakers, but they had the ability to love humbly. That is why I think its so important to love; because it is something that everyone and anyone can do. God calls everyone because they have the ability to love, not only because they have skills. Maybe I should be glad that I am not an eloquent speaker, a beautiful singer, super organized multi-tasker, or a great writer. Then again I'm not the most loving person either.... but I hope that is what I will ...
